THE streets of Javea were filled with colour and hundreds of revellers dressed up in a variety of costumes enjoying Carnival time over the weekend. The Carnival will conclude this Saturday with the traditional ‘Entierro de la sardina’ –  Burial of the sardine – procession through the streets with a sardine figure, which will start at 11pm from plaça de l’Esglesia to the placenta del Convent where there will be a disco.
