GUARDIA CIVIL from Huercal de Almeria arrested a 37-year-old man charged with robbery. The officers received a call alerting of a robbery on the San Rafael Industrial Estate. Whene they arrived, they encountered a security guard and found that the back door had been broken and the till tampered with. They then noticed a person hiding in a corner in the dark.
He attempted to escape but was caught and found to be carrying 35 lottery tickets stolen from the bar. The officers also found two bags with coins, a packet of batteries and a mobile phone outside the bar.
